Ellen Gluck graduated from George Washington University with a Masters Degree in Vocational Counseling and spent the next eleven years as a Vocational Counselor conducting classes and one on one instruction in resume writing, job search strategy and interview skills training. Ellen then founded an employment agency in Hartsdale, NY which she ran for 5 years prior to launching GoodNews Personnel — a home based referral service specializing in the placement of rehabilitation professionals. She is proud of the past 20 years GoodNews Personnel has been in business still with many of the same loyal relationships that have developed over the past two decades. Ellen has been married to Paul since 1979, has two wonderful daughters and an adventurous dog.
Paul Gluck, Administrator, Paul joined GoodNews Personnel in 2014 taking over responsibility for finance and accounting. As part of our GNP team he offers guidance in many areas including employee/employer relations. He is married to Ellen, has two wonderful daughters and a wonderful dog..
Deirdre Murphy, Consultant, graduated from Connecticut College in New London Connecticut with a BA in American Studies. Prior to joining GoodNews Personnel in 2011, Deirdre spent most of her 26 year career in marketing, specializing in product development , branding and product commercialization. Her career was extremely diverse and included domestic and international travel — exposing her to a multitude of disciplines and professionals in both the US and abroad. Her diverse background and management experience makes her a wonderful recruiter for personnel placement.
Mary Curley, Administrative Assistant, has joined our team as an office administrator responsible for maintaining our documents and records. Formerly in banking, Mary is thorough and accurate in her position and offers kindness and sensitivity in interaction with co-workers, clients and to those who we represent on assignments.
